What's worse - warm cat barf fresh from the source? Or cold catbarf... Oh cats why do you vomit everywhere? goddamnit...
After 3 or 4 intense days of translating and research and last night feeling this undercurrent of poetryness -and a crazed fierce impatience with nearly everyone for liking the simplest things, the fluffiest, the trivial games instead of the things I like best that are dense and huge, strange & complex & contradictory - I started writing a huge new thing in the car in my lap while driving home - and also realized where I want to go with this old huge long unfinished poem. yay! it feels really good.
off now to draw some comix with Moomin. he is excited about - of all things - K4li Durg4, who is on a t-shirt that i have on the seatback of my truck to keep my skin from frying in the summer. "K4li is fierce and kills things to help predators. She has a lot of arms and stuff that is her superpowers in all the arms. K4li is her real name, and Durg4 is the nickname." Thus do I explain things in Moomin-language. I fear I'm a bad explainer.
Kali Kali Kali Kali Durga.

What's worse is hearing a cat barfing at 3 AM. Then you have the choice of getting up and cleaning it right away, or going back to sleep and running the risk of stepping on it in the morning before you've remembered to watch out for it.

If you have the strength of will. I find ignoring it for a few days - maybe tastefully draped with newspaper - means that it dries out and can be easily hoovered up .. magically leaving no mark.
