I just wrote an inquiry letter to Nuevo Flakewad "College" in SF to ask if they hire temporary lecturers. Can I send you my CV and a course proposal? Heh. (if they say yes, I will have to HAUL ASS to make a cool course proposal.) But wouldn't that be fun? I'd totally do it for FREE, you know. Just for the experience.
I think I'll also try to teach a workshop at the rec center here... I was going to try this last winter, but lost the 9-page application form somewhere along the line. I'm thinking a 3 or 4 hour weekend afternoon t4nslation workshop. A 4-week evening class would be better though I would not expect anyone to do homework-reading - alas. Instead: mini-readings, 5 minute lectures, and multiple quick exercises in groups. hmmm.
Am also busily writing cover letters to the ML4 T & T series. which would be the perfect home for my project!
