It sucks to wake up at 5am but i enjoyed watching the morning develop out my huge window! Little birds everywhere, perching and flitting. I wrote a bunch and then went back to the 4th "protector" book... toast and cheese and coffee, yum.

I noticed suddenly that the Wild Mage's powers make all the animals around her get intelligent. But it's only the cats and dogs and sparrows and horses - everyone still eats chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, and cows... heh.
