For anyone out there who hasn't gotten to where I am yet. Be aware that if you invite 15 kids to party you will not know .. how to put this. Moomin is on this cusp of being the age where people can drop their kids off and leave them. But apparently, not quite: and also a lot of invited kids have young siblings so the party turns more into that thing where there are 20 adults and 20 kids but basically the adult to kid ratio is completely unpredictable and you can't tell how many people are coming to the party!
I think even when I was 3, the kids were just dressed up in "party clothes" and shoved out the car door. Today things are different!
As it is, I liked meeting the adults and also it was good that there was lots of supervision! Considering all the pits of rusty nails, and staple-gun party favors, and stuff.
