Cleaning off the 2 shelves by the door - accumulated junk from nearly a year - has taken me all morning. Now I have:
two giant piles of paper that must be sorted
a tub full of things that go somewhere else
a jar full of pennies
a lot of pens that probably don't work
dust
the lost box of checkbooks
3 pairs of pruning shears
a ring that was my grandfather's (how did it get there?)
cat hair
a crystal candy bowl full of rocks and shells
I thought I was going to go through all the papers in one day. WRONG.
Moomin has made up a song on the harmonica. The name of it is "I love you but I don't want you to take me away". Cowboys sing it under the moon.
I am reading Martian Chronicles - it's better and more interesting than I remembered!
We are moving in parallel. Y'all want to have lunch and a movie later?
