So many things taste better when they've been fried in a vat of olive oil!
I'm happy just smelling this food. Today we went by the "biscotteria" place on El Cam (one of those cool hopeful businesses that seem doomed to near-instant failure) and I nearly fainted from the smell of the toasting an1se biscottis. Now I'm tripping out on the greasy olivy smell, garlic and cheese and onions and breadcrumbs. Nostalgia train! The 5/16ths of me, or whatever it is, flares its nostrils in ancestral bliss!
