We took a quick walk around the block after dinner and it was strangely nice. Looking furtively into all the houses, checking out their plants. I resolve to get into our front yard and fix it up sometime this weekend and next week during the week when it's not too hot.
- tear out dead camellia bushes
- figure out non-working sprinkler situation
- rip up ugly black plastic sheeting
- obtain mulch
Tomorrow: get allergy shot and get the forms so we can cut down and replace the evil tree. It will be expensive but oh so worth it as I (really we) went through at least 6 weeks of misery with that damn thing's pollen... and the pollen's still all over everything...
Moomin liked the walk and it cooled me off and made me feel more human...
