Gilgamesh

This finding of Gilgamesh's grave has me kind of excited.

He who went with me through all hard[ships],
Enkidu, whom I loved (so) dearly,
Who went with me through all hardships,
He has gone to the (common) lot of mankind.
Day and night have I wept over him.

[My friend, whom I loved, has turn]ed into clay; Enkidu, my friend, whom I loved, has tu[rned into clay].
[And I], shall I [not like unto him] lie down
[And not rise] forever?"
