Ide Cyan

There's a very expensive copy on eBay, but the seller has uploaded lots of photos, if you're interested:

Ide Cyan

Ooh, and there are other books by the same author, some of which are much cheaper, like item #260014293786, "The Lion-Hearted Kitten". And prints!
Item #7406271496, "Antique Beauty", with a description on the back that... "fat old women should not be allowed in sculpture galleries" is completely misogynist, and I'm really not sure it was the artist's intent.

Ide Cyan

And I'm really spamming you, but there's a complete story by Peggy Bacon that you can read, since the eBay seller uploaded a photo of it, and it all fits on the one card:

That's so awesome... Thanks Ide! I read "The Popular Pet" just now and realized I've read it before. It's a great story.

I also know her drawing style so I must have read others.

Robin

Go to twolakespress.com. it is being reissued soon.

badgermama

Holy crap! This is why I love blogging! Thanks!

Here's the link to Two Lakes Press & their page on Peggy Bacon.

And one for $175 at abebooks.com, always a good alternative to Amazon's used listings.

Sunset Academy of Music

My uncle's music school in San Francisco, Sunset Academy of Music. He's a really great guitar teacher for adults or kids, a good listener with a sense of humor and intuitive understanding of teaching.
