lirini
Okay, this is totally lirini (an achievement that seems small to others, but means a lot to the achiever) but take look over here...

It was hard to stick my neck out as a feminist this way. I'm learning a lot from the responses to it elsewhere.

How I adore you!
Excellent, excellent review.

This does not seem SMALL to me at all! Rock on!

I loved it! It made a lot of sense to me and, while I didn't get a lot of your references because I haven't read the books you mentioned, I wasn't any poorer for that information. In fact, I felt enriched! And I loved that you mention Henry Louis Gates because I am reading Classic Slave Narratives right now.

very thoughtful review. and also thanks very much for using "lirini" in a sentence; I wasn't aware of it before (I know about Laadan but haven't looked very closely at it). great word! even though for the value of "other" = me, this particular example doesn't seem like a small thing at all.
